Lil Nas X Pairs a Purple Shearling Coat With a Tan Purse For Coach

Lil Nas X is Coach's new ambassador, celebrating the news with a Courage to Be Real campaign released on Thursday, Oct. 6, and lensed by artist Petra Collins. The 23-year-old singer, who has always been vocal about freedom of self-expression, takes us through his struggles to become who he is today in a dream-like sequence set to his new single "STAR WALKIN'," as his outfits get even more colorful and creative.

Of course, Lil Nas X wears Coach garb throughout, styled by Stella Greenspan, plenty of which you can shop at the brand's new landing page. The Courage to Be Real video is just the first in a series of storytelling moments to come that Lil Nas X will bring to life.

"My whole career has been about breaking down doors, and this campaign represents everything I've overcome so far," Lil Nas X said in a press release. "It's about walking into new chapters of life, new experiences, and new versions of myself, and it's rooted in authenticity and self-expression — two things I really care about. It was really fun collaborating with Stuart and Petra to bring this to life."

Lil Nas X made his modeling debut during New York Fashion Week on the Coach spring 2023 runway, solidifying his partnership with the fashion house. His empowering YSL Beauty campaign was also recently released on Sept. 22, foreshadowing plenty more to come from the game-changing multihyphenate who values inclusivity in all his work.
